I want to start off saying I am not trying to brag here, but I keep hearing people say if you do not have a blonde haired blue eyed kid you will not get attention by the media. My response to that is we have a blonde haired, blue eyed kid and we have fought very hard to get the medias attention, very hard All the attention we have got so far has come because of the very hard work of the very dedicated group of core volunteers that are working on behave of the family and more importantly Dylan. The internet campaign is is being run by volunteers on FaceBook and Twitter that have spent 100s of hours making sure Dylan's name and face keeps getting out there. There has been nothing easy about this at all, we fight for attention everyday. My point is you have to stay very aggressive and reach out to everyone for support. Internet campaigns for missing children are still newer as there is no known guidelines or outlines that help show what you should be doing, we are pushing this campaign farther than I have ever personally seen. I hope as we go we can help others with missing children as far as what we have learned and done and be able to establish a basic outline of what has worked the best for us so others can have a successful campaign with out the growing pains of trying to figure out what to do.
As the Twitter admin I have reached out to many groups and individuals and I have got some amazing support in return. We have reached many professional athletes from Denver rockies, Broncos to NewYork Knicks and Indiana Pacers players and many others have helped get our message out. Many local tv and newspaper news have kept up on our story and continue to do so today. We have been featured on Nacy Grace and Dr. Phil show. But our biggest supporters are our daily supporters, the ones who retweet almost everything I post, the ones that have really been my core supporters.
We also have to mention the amazing support we are getting from from some very powerful activist groups. Anonymous activist group has been our largest supporters as far as numbers and dedication go, they has been a huge boost in getting awareness. I couldn't thank them enough.
We have also had a lot of support from women's rights groups anti bullying and anti child abuse groups NRA groups and conservative groups. Have all been a great help.
So over all my point still is, as in life in general you have to fight for what you want what you believe in, nobody will hand you anything you have to work hard and never give up There is nothing easy about doing this, and there is no taking a break from it, like I have been saying it can be any min that the right person that seen something or seen Dylan sees one of the tweets or posts and we get Dylan back home.
Thank You for your time and your amazing support so far, still need everyone of you til we get him home.
Thanks
Twitter Admin

Full statement from Dylan's father Mark Redwine
I would like to take the opportunity to address the disappearance of my son Dylan as we are now at 6 months. Our community like many across the country are still missing one of our children. I like the many who know him miss his happy personality, smile as well as his outgoing and giving nature. I know Dylan is loved and missed by all those who know him and we owe it to him to continue our search to find him. Over the last several months the focus in finding Dylan seems to have changed to blaming and disrespect. I will be the first to say "I will never give up" and I am honored to have Dylan as my son.
There are many aspects of Dylan's disappearance, I like many in our communities across the country struggle with each day. I am asking that we stop and evaluate the process as a community, to come up with a more productive approach in the search for Dylan and missing
children across the country. I feel more should be done anytime a child goes missing. No child who is missing should have to wait for certain criteria to be met before the public is notified and an alert be sent out. I want to find my son and bring him home safe. I need the help of every single person out there to do this. Dylan could be anywhere out there so PLEASE look at his picture and the face of every child you see his age to see if it could be Dylan.
There have been many rumors started most of which are untrue and none that have been helpful in our search for Dylan. There are a few members of the community who continue to hamper the search efforts. It's not for me to judge these individuals nor do I believe Dylan would condone anyone else judging them. I thank the many individuals and businesses who have contributed in our search for Dylan. Although several attempts have been made, I would like to publicly invite Dylan's mother too mediation services being offered. I believe the more we all work together to bring Dylan home the more successful his safe return will be.
To Dylan: I know in my heart you are out there and can see all the things that are going on. "I want you to know I love you and will never give up to bring you home safe". Myself as well as
many in our community and across the nation have you in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Each day many including me, search for the truth and the person or persons responsible for your
disappearance. Speaking for myself, I will not rest until the truth comes out and justice has been served.
To Cory: Like Dylan I love you and will never give up on you. Regardless of the things you say or do I will always care. I feel the same pain, hurt and feeling of helplessness you and your
mother feel. I can't make this any more clear, I don't have Dylan, I have never had Dylan and I absolutely do not know where Dylan is.
To whom it may concern: I want you to live each day as it were your last. You can't run far enough or hide under any rock that can't be turned over. Dylan is loved by all who know him.
You may find his disappearance entertaining or even amusing. Regardless of who you are and why? All I want is Dylan returned safely. The truth always comes out and when it does may God
have pity on your soul.
I love you Dylan,
PaPa

These are the facts as I know them to be. I know that it leaves a lot of unanswered questions and believe me - I have those same questions-I cannot post anything that I do not know to be truth. It is not my job here to come to conclusions and point fingers, it's my job to keep looking for Dylan in every nook and cranny until he comes home.again ~ I will try to be as precise and accurate as I possibly can.
Nov 17 Dylan is scheduled to fly into Durango. His flight was canceled by the airlines, and rescheduled for the next day.
Dylan made plans to spend the night with friends on Nov. 18
Nov. 18 Dylan Redwine flew to Durango Airport, landed and as was picked up by his father Sunday evening November 18, 2012 - verified by security cameras.
Nov 18 Dylan and his father go to Walmart after the airport - this has been verified through security cameras.
According to Mark Redwine (hereafter referred to as MR) they went to McDonald’s it has not been verified that Dylan was indeed there.
Through text messages Dylan reschedules plans to arrive at his friends house the next morning at 6:30 a.m. (Monday) to hang out.
Nov. 18 ~ All electronic messages from Dylan stops at 8:30 p.m.Dylan's father Mark Redwine told me he stirred around the house early in the morning to wake Dylan but he didn't want to get up, so he went to town without him around 7:30 a.m.
Dylan’s friends attempt to contact him via text and calls to find out where he is.
MR stated he ran errands in Durango during the morning and returned home at 11:30 a.m. to find Dylan gone from the house. (His where abouts during this time has been confirmed by investigators) Dylan's cell phone and all the belongings he brought from his mother’s are also missing.
MR stated in an interview that he took a nap when he returned home from his errands. He said he thought Dylan may be out playing by himself or may have walked to a friends house. The friend in reference lives 5.9 miles from MR’s house.
People reported seeing him walking but all of those reports turned out to be unsubstantiated. (There is another older boy at the lake who looks similar to Dylan) At 4:15 MR said he went to the friends house that Dylan was supposed to be hanging with to see if Dylan showed up there. Finding 2 of Dylan's friends there they said they had been trying to contact him all day to no avail. MR then said he went to the Marshal's office to express his concern that he couldn't find Dylan.
MR texts Dylan’s mother to see if she knows his where-abouts, she drove immediately from Colorado Springs to Durango to aid in the search. Dylan's brother and other family members accompanied her, she arrived Monday night.
La Plata County search and rescue searched for Dylan Monday night and all day Tuesday.MR said he was cooperative with the police and they were allowed to do a preliminary search of his home.Search dogs detected a scent on the road near Marks house, but it couldn't be verified that it was Dylan's because at the time there was nothing for the dog's to catch a scent from.
The family is subjected to polygraph tests. MR's test was inclusive. Elaine and Cory pass theirs. The family and LE have begged him to retake it, and he has refused.
Dylan's cell phone records have been checked. And his phone activity is monitored at all times. His phone has been turned off since Sunday night. GPS is not available on his older phone.
All sex offenders in the area have been checked and accounted for.
The lake and surrounding areas have been searched and scoured by hundreds of volunteers, to include, abandoned buildings, houses, barns, sheds etc.
2 cadaver dogs, separately catch a scent from a boat off of the dam.Divers were brought in but the altitude, depth of the lake and temperature of the lake prevent them from diving for more than 20 -30 mins at a time. And they can only dive once a day. They were unable to find anything the first day.
Boats with hi-tech sonar were brought in and the entire area in front of the dam was checked. Nothing was found.A task force was formed and house to house, business to business interviews are being conducted from the dam on the southend of the lake to the north end of the lake.Dylan is finally not considered to be a run away by authorities. (Family and friends have maintained this fact since day one.)
A search warrant was issued to search Mark's property, to include his house and his vehicles. The Sheriff's office maintains that Mark is not a suspect. The search of his home by the task force is because that was the last area that Dylan was presumably in and they have to start somewhere. This is standard in missing cases.
A few days after the search MR does another interview with media and has rumbled blanket and pillow on the couch. (These were never there before). There is also a cereal bowl on the counter that he says Dylan ate out of. (The task force would have taken anything with Dylan’s DNA) He also states that the TV was tuned to Nickalodean. Nickalodean on Monday morning is geared for 4 year olds.
Helicopters were in the air again on Day 15, boats on the lake again as well. Nothing was found that we are aware of.
There are currently 45-50 officials made up of the FBI, CBI, La Plata County sheriff's personal and other agencies assigned to the Dylan Redwine Task Force.
Over 320 people made up of volunteers and law enforcement search almost 60 miles of roads and back country terrain for Dylan. Several things were tagged and 10 items picked up for further examining, but LE has said nothing about whether they were valid clues or not.
Volunteers return again to the lake and walk the shoreline looking for clues.A helicopter spent about an hour over the Vallecito lake area again.
Over 1000 people turn out for a benefit to raise money towards the Find Dylan Redwine Fund.
We are able to increase the reward to 11,000 dollars with funds made at the benefit dinner.
Blood hounds were brought in to see if they could pick up any scent of Dylan.
They were taken around to the same areas that had been covered before and no scent was found.
A team of bloodhounds have been brought back in for 10 days and detected a possible scent when holes were opened in the ice in the same vicinity as earlier hits.
The family flew to LA to appear on the Dr. Phil Show and beg the Nation to look for Dylan.
Dr. Phil shows aired Feb. 26 and Feb 27.
Law Enforcement and the family has been actively researching, searching and following up on anything they can to help find Dylan.
The reward is now $50,500 with no new leads. SOMEONE knows something. We still have no leads, no clues. Nothing to find Dylan. Please keep posting and sharing and praying. Dylan is out there somewhere! We want to bring him home.We are constantly doing fundraisers to raise money for a larger reward and will continue to do so until the right person sees and comes forward with information to bring Dylan home.

Dylan Redwine's grandmother has passed away message via Facebook page
Good morning Warriors,
The strong, graceful woman you see in Elaine Redwine Hatfield, Dylan's mother, has navigated this nightmare better than I could even have hoped to. Many have come to know her through this humbling journey that you have become a part of. Elaine is the person she is today because she herself had an amazing mother. A mother that herself took an incredible journey when she migrated to this country and the raised 5 amazing daughters.
Lainie's Mutti, Dylan's Oma, passed away on Monday morning after a long battle with cancer. A battle that she bravely prolonged in the hopes that she would be with us to see her grandson come home. She is at rest now, another angel to assist us in the search for Dylan from the other side.
Her services will be today at 3 p.m. in Florence Colorado at the Elks lodge. Please take some time today to pray for Dylan's family as they honor the beautiful, strong woman that taught Lainie and her sisters to be the strong women that they are.
All of our thoughts and prayers are with them today.

Quick Recap
Dylan flew in to Durango, Co airport Nov 19 to visit his father for Thanksgiving and was picked up by his father(verified by cameras). They stopped at a local Walmart ( verified by cameras) and McDonalds, then headed to his fathers house. The last cell communication from Dylan was sent about 9:30 p.m. that night. His father said he seen Dylan that next morning about 7:30 a.m. when his father went to run out for a few hours, when he returned Dylan was not at his house. A few hours went by before his dad got concerned after attempting to contact Dylan on his phone. His father then went to a friend of Dylan's to see if he had seen or heard from Dylan, Dylan was supposed to meet up with that friend that morning, but the friend had not heard from Dylan that morning. At this point is when His father went to law enforcement to report he couldn't find Dylan.

Search so far
Law enforcement began searching quickly, searching the area over the first few days search dogs hit on a scent near the lake. Dive teams were brought in and boats with sonar equipment also. The search on the lake turned up nothing. 100s of volunteers turned out to search the roadways buildings in the area the F.B.I and C.B.I was also involved. No clues were found that helped determined where Dylan was.
At this point things started to get quiet as far as new information goes, many efforts to raise awareness were made like going on the Dr. Phil show and Nancy Grace ran the story a couple times, vigils were held for his birthday Feb 6th, but no new clues turned up.We have been in contact with many Physics and their information turned out to not be helpful, we also have private investigators that looked into the case still nothing new was found.
Newest Information
The family had another K9 search team come to the area recently to go over the area again. Two of their dogs hit in the same area of the lake the original dogs hit at, but the lake was frozen at this point. So as of right now we have a dive team ready to go back into the lake once we can get boats on the water again. This dive team is very well equipped and will come when the lake is ready and they can get to the area. This team has volunteered to come but like anything its very expensive to travel and to get lodging, so we are trying to continue to raise funds to help support the dive team.
We are hoping that we can clear the lake as a possibility but closure for the family is a possibility.
As the lake has been on all of our minds we must push the awareness and continue to keep looking as the lake has been searched once and nothing was found.
Local Colorado news and New Mexico news has kept up on coverage but national mainstream news has not been helpful so we really need everyone on social media sites like FaceBook and Twitter to keep helping us to spread the flyers and information that Dylan is still missing and we still need help to find him.
Donations
As the search goes on more and more the expenses have fallen on us to pay, so we really need more help to keep raising the reward and keeping the website up and any new places that might need searched we need funds ready to go Please visit our website www.finddylan.com for information on making a donation.

Update via La Plata County Sheriff’s Office
News Release: LPCSO Update on Investigation of Disappearance of Dylan Redwine
Date/ Time: 4:00PM MST Tuesday March 19th 2013
Source: Dan Bender, PIO La Plata County Sheriff’s Office Durango, Colorado
Narrative:
According to the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, on November 19, 2012, the day Dylan Redwine was reported missing, there was a reported sighting by a local postal worker indicating that Dylan was seen walking with another boy in Vallecito at about 2:00 PM. Investigators have identified and contacted these two young people and determined they have no connection to Dylan’s disappearance. Investigators continue to investigate reported sightings in Colorado and other states, but to date, none have been confirmed.
In February, investigators asked the public to help identify a man who was seen in Vallecito looking for gas on the day Dylan was reported missing. Investigators were able to identify and contact the man. He has not been linked to Dylan’s disappearance and was in the area on legitimate business.
Dylan was reported missing on Monday, November 19, 2012, when Dylan’s mother, Elaine Redwine, contacted the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office at about 5:30 PM to report that Dylan was missing from his father’s home in Vallecito. Mark Redwine, Dylan’s father, had previously contacted the Bayfield Marshal’s Office on the 19th attempting to learn if they had seen Dylan, and he then contacted Elaine asking if she had heard from Dylan.
Elaine Redwine, Dylan’s brother Cory Redwine, and Elaine’s fiancé Mike Hall remained in the Colorado Springs area when Dylan flew to Durango by himself on November 18th for a Court ordered visit with Mark Redwine for the Thanksgiving holiday. Elaine, Cory and Mike were still in the Colorado Springs area when Mark sent the message to Elaine the following afternoon asking about Dylan. Shortly after receiving Mark’s inquiry, Elaine, Cory and Mike traveled to Durango.
Investigators learned that Mark met Dylan at the Durango-La Plata County Airport at about 5:45 PM Sunday, November 18th. Investigators confirmed that Dylan arrived at Mark’s home on Sunday at about 8:00 PM after stops at Wal-Mart and McDonald’s in Durango.
[SEE PAGE TWO]
[PAGE TWO] LPCSO Update on Investigation of Disappearance of Dylan Redwine
Investigators learned that Mark has said he last saw Dylan at around 7:30 AM Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home in Vallecito when Mark left for Durango to run errands. Investigators have also learned Mark returned home at about 11:30 AM and discovered that Dylan was gone.
Mark’s and Dylan’s interactions and activities within the community on November 18th and 19th, as well as tips related to persons, locations and sightings remain under investigation.
Investigators are reviewing recent information including tips, interviews, and reports generated since last November, seeking links that may be helpful as they plan and conduct future searches and interviews, and determine additional evidence analysis needs.
Investigators continue to seek information and evidence from the public to determine whether something happened to Dylan at the home or whether he somehow left the home and something happened to him away from the home.
Investigators are asking for information from anyone who may have been at their Vallecito homes or traveling in Vallecito on CR 500 or CR 501 between 7:00 PM Sunday, November 18th and 7:00 PM on Monday, November 19th.
If citizens feel they saw or heard any activity during this time frame that was not normal for their neighborhood they are asked to call the local Dylan Tip Line (970-382-7511) to leave a message and contact information. The Dylan Tip Line is checked frequently by Investigators.
Anonymous tips can be left with Durango-La Plata Crime Stoppers (970-247-1112). Persons can also call the hotline for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE LOST (1-800-843-5678). A reward for finding Dylan is in excess of $50,000.00.

Update message via Official Facebook page
Team Dylan Warriors! Thank you all for continuing the fight to find Dylan. We appreciate how hard everyone is truly working to bring him home to us.
We would like to take a moment to give a brief update on what has been happening over the past few weeks. Of course most of you are aware and were apart of the campaign to get Dr. Phil on board to do a show, and THANK YOU for that. Because of all of you Dylan is now in the homes of millions of people. Tues. show had more than 3.8 million people watching and Wed. show had more 4 million. Incredible numbers of people!
Right before the family flew to L.A. for the show, we brought in a team of dogs from N.M. to search the lake area thoroughly. Wendy and her dogs did a great job covering the very rugged areas of the lake. The last few days that Wendy and the dogs were there the family decided to break open the ice in the same area that cadaver dogs had indicated a scent in the lake back in November. Her dogs did catch a light scent in this same area. We then checked about 100 yards east of that area and a scent was also detected in that area.
As I have stated early, we are still holding on to HOPE. WE CHOOSE HOPE! While it's true that the dogs have picked up a scent we don't know what that is, and again there are many, many homeless people who live in the area.
We began researching and contacting professionals that can help us search the lake. We have contacted many people and organization and have chosen a team we believe possess the knowledge of not only water and recovery, but the latest in technological equipment. From high tech sonar to ROV's we believe this team is the best and are making plans to get them here as soon as the ice melts enough to get a boat on the water. We feel that this step is necessary and if nothing else we might be able to provide closure for another family.
The family has a very solid team of professionals working hard on this case as well. These professionals work under the radar without media exposure. This is why we chose them. The are not interested in using Dylan's disappearance to promote themselves or their organizations. They are interested in FINDING DYLAN and that means the most to us.
We are continuing with the awareness campaign and working hard, hard, hard to get Dylan into even more homes throughout the world. This is where all of you come in! Keep sharing this page, talk about Dylan - show people his pictures and his missing poster. We will never EVER let the world forget that Dylan is missing. YOU ARE TEAM DYLAN ~ YOU ARE HIS WARRIORS! Let's bring him home!

Message from Dylan's mom
I know that you have seen Dr. Phil by now. I thank you for watching. It wasn't pretty but it never is when children are missing. But we have made ground and that is all that matters. No matter what you believe please keep believing in Dylan. Thank you all and let's all stay hopeful in finding Dylan. Love Elaine

Unauthorized profile
Statistically Dylan Redwines kidnapper would be within 60 miles of where he was taken based on the area. Its more than probable that we are looking for a middle aged (45- 50) white male based on known predators threw out the country. More than likely single living by themselves with below average job, meaning not wealthy but surviving modestly. This person would have changed their routine since 11/19/12, maybe someone that would normally stop at local pub hasn't been stopping in. There food buying would have changed, buying cereal they don't normally buy and ordering pizza a lot more often, Dylan was a picky eater so the person might be tiring to keep him calm with food he likes. This person could have also bought video game system recently or has been renting movies a lot, maybe buying kid sized cloths also. If this person is in the area somebody had to the notice the changes. Report anyone that seems to be nervous or has been doing anything different around that time. Even if your not sure let the Police check them out, its worth a shot and you can do it anonymously threw the tip line. If your right its worth $50,000. The person can be different than we described but the changed routine and buying habits are more than likely the case.
This is NOT the Police profile buts its based on a lot of research, if there's something here I should add or take out ill take suggestions. If there is a profile I haven't see it, please point me to where it is.
Somebody has him, somebody knows where he is, we are coming for you Dylan we just need to be pointed in the right direction.

RALLY FOR DYLAN
#finddylan
This gathering is a Rally For Dylan. It is meant to be a peaceful gathering to bring Dylan back to media, especially national media, attention. Additionally the mission is to invite Dylan's father Mark Redwine to have a more active approach and involvement in the search for Dylan.
Remember, we ARE NOT a Lynch Mob, we are peaceful, we are here for Dylan, he needs us.
SNOW IS BEING FORECASTED please dress appropriately! Please bring your own signs. Please bring water and snacks.
County Road 500 is very narrow, with little room for parking. PLEASE CARPOOL! We are in the process of rounding up volunteers that are willing to shuttle people from larger parking areas to County Road 500. We will post when we have more information.
Here are some guide lines and safety tips for Saturday's Rally.
You must to stay on public property or on private property with the owner's permission.
We don't want ANY complaints. Be orderly. Don't argue, fight, shout, with anyone to include neighbors, bystanders, each other or Mark Redwine.
Do not block driveways or impede traffic.
You need good signs if we are hoping for them to be seen on the news, using rainbow colors makes them hard to read.
Simple, bold, black lettering on white foam core board is good. You can get foam core board for $1 at Dollar Tree. Foam core board will hold up better than poster board.
Repositionable black letters (they are like post-it notes) work great. Once you have them where you wanted them on the board, I use a glue stick to affix them.
They are cheaper than stickers and easier and more legible than handwriting.
If you cannot remain peaceful and respectful than you will be asked to leave.
Any new information will be posted on the Facebook page Official Facebook Page
